And if I tell you that you have to go work tomorrow and get back to life, you’ll be crushed and disheartened and shout “Noooo” for sure ??♀️ Aren’t you just loving spending time to yourself and family? I surely am. Despite of how the world is going crazy, it’s not all negative!
I bet you probably have forgotten how to hook a bra cause it’s been ages you have wore one. And be honest, haven’t you searched different ways to remove those pesky hair on your upper lip and arms at home? Oh you have! But tell me, is it necessary? I’m seriously loving to not go to salons for literally 5-10 minutes of work, not that i have a choice but still.
So why not give the best time of this quarantine to embrace our natural beauty and make some needed changes to our beauty routine for a better skin and a boost of confidence today? I’m in, are you?
1.) DRINK MORE WATER
If i could, i would have just added these three words in every post of mine. Can i focus enough? Summers are on the way ( in India) and water is the only thing which can save us. So start making it a habit of drinking at least 6 glasses of water a day. A better way to do is to drink half a glass of water every time you go into the kitchen ( which you are going a lot nowadays ) or keep a bottle of water in every room you probably spend the most time in. I guarantee, you’re gonna come out of quarantine glowing✨
2.) LET YOUR EYEBROWS GROW OUT
It’s okay to let those brows grow out. No one’s watching you right now and after this ends, go and get those heroes shaped in the best way possible. In fact, I’m using castor oil for a better growth and hands down it’s working. So please don’t be harsh and pluck even a single extra hair cause it doesn’t even matter.
3.) STAY AT BAY FROM NAIL PAINTS
Imagine, how damaged they’re gonna get if you don’t give them time to even breathe. You may love a nice manicured hand but for once, can we just avoid color on our nails and let them grow. Use a cuticle oil instead to get super strong and healthy nails when you get out.
4.) WHAT BETTER THAN A HEALTHY SKIN AND PROPER SKINCARE ROUTINE
I don’t ask you to follow a long skincare routine which you probably weren’t following or will be following after this quarantine ends. But I’m asking you to do short and crisp skincare which includes cleanser and a moisturiser with a mask twice/thrice a week. That’s enough. Because you’ll definitely be following this with an additional step of sunscreen ? Voila! You’re skins’ all set to shine brighter than the sun.
5.) MISS OUT ON STYLING YOUR HAIR
It’s high time to take a break and skip on subjecting your hair regularly to heat and styling gadgets. Instead, give your hair the much needed attention and pamper them. Apply hair masks often. Just let them be in the most natural and beautiful way possible.
6.) KEEP YOUR MAKEUP BAG IN THE BACK OF YOUR DRESSER
Make up doesn’t necessarily damage your skin but not letting your pores breathe surely will. So just let your skin revive and fortify till the time you are under no pressure to look presentable. If you’re working from home, try using less makeup and remove it just after it ends. Follow a good skincare afterwards.

7.) SAY HELLO TO PYJAMAS ALL DAY!
I’m dead sure we all are gonna miss just lying down in our pyjamas and do nothing so why not embrace it today? There’s no need to wear those tight pants or tops all day. A quick tip for people who are working from home is to wear a blazer over your a nice comfortable t-shirt with pyjamas below? You’ll look presentable without sacrificing your comfort.
8.) GET YOURSELF SOME EXTRA BEAUTY SLEEP
This is the perfect time to compensate for the loss of sleep you had all your life. Grab your beauty sleep and Decrease those stress levels and definitely dark circles under your eyes so you save up on concealer after world gets back to work. But don’t forget to manage your sleep schedule near the time when quarantine will end because that’s gonna cost you a lot later.
9.) FOCUS ON YOUR LASHES
Lashes are among few things that make a face more vibrant and fresh. Instead, of booking an expensive lash uplifting or extension appointment next, grow your lashes thicker naturally so you don’t have to invest those bucks in extensions or even mascara for that matter. And obviously, what better than natural? I’m using castor oil routinely and no hype but it works fantastic.
10.) BONUS TIP- AN ADDITIONAL SKINCARE STEP OF RUBBING ICE ON FACE
I never really got time to do it regularly but I’m sure I’m gonna include it in my permanent skincare regime eventually. It is rubbing a cube of ice after cleansing my face. It takes time so i would suggest you to better do it at night. This is a celebrity trick to a youthful and glowing face.
And you thought you had nothing to do to kill hours. These ideas of embracing beauty changes during quarantine will not just help you kill time but will benefit you in ways you’ll be thankful in future?
